About Ashley

Ashley has been involved in the Martial Arts for over 22 years, starting at a tender age of 4. Over the years he has trained under the watchful eye of his father Brian who was also an Olympic gymnast and trampolining coach for the UK. Training mainly in Freestyle Kickboxing, Ashley has achieved one of the most prestigious championship titles 3 times in a row; The WAKO World Championships in 2003 & 2005 for Musical Forms and Weapons! He has studied not just Freestyle Kickboxing but a number of styles including Capoeira, Taekwondo, Shotokan, Aikido, Wu-shu & Weaponary! He uses a combination of all these styles with weapons and also with his gymnastic & acrobatic experience he has learnt from his father, has a very unique explosive style of jumping, spinning, twisting, somersaulting & kicking manouveres that is just mind blowing to watch!

  Ashley has worked on a number of Films including "Angels and Demons", "Narnia: Prince Caspian", "Poseidon", "The Purifiers", "Team 1" and "Left for Dead"... He was involved in the UK TV hit "The New Captain Scarlet" Series 1 & 2, playing mainly Captain Blue along with fighters, troopers and various other characters aswell.

  With his experience on set with stage combat, acrobatic falls & stunts, Ashley has also worked on many games for games consoles along the side of "Sony", "SEGA" & "EA Games"... Some of the titles Ashley has worked on are: "50 Cent: Blood on the Sand" "Crysis", "Killzone 2", "Turning Point: Fall of Liberty", "Miami Vice", "Heavenly Sword", "Alias" plus many more. Ashley performs live using his Martial arts, gymnastic, acrobatic & weapons skills in a routine to music which is very exciting to watch and is perfect for music video's & shows! He has had the oppoutunity to perform on the opening ceremony of the Comonwealth Games 2002,The Royal Variety Performance 2001 and was also invited to the Queens Royal Garden Party held in Buckingham Palace.
